I was born in Cape Town on 28th November 1987.
I live in Khayelitsha.
My dream job is to be a sports manager based in Khayelitsha and to use sport to reduce crime and drug use in the area.
I started cycling when I was 17 years old.
I have been part of the LCA for the past five years.
My biggest achievement off the bike is passing my Grade 12 and be able to further my studies. I am now studying for a diploma in Public Management through UNISA .
I train for more than 16 hours a week.
Cycling has helped me a lot as a young person of my time, it has kept me away from negative influences; it helps me focus on what I want to achieve in my life. It helps me think and make positive choices.
Cycling has taught me that you need to work hard to achieve your goals. Nothing comes easy in life.
My cycling dream is to race overseas.
My one regret is not having more time to cycle because I have to take care of my family members.
Lance Armstrong is my hero because he knows what he wants and works hard for it. I would love to meet him and get to know him better, as a rider.
Pizza and chicken and mango juice are some of my favourites.
I enjoy listening to house and R&B music.
My way of relaxing is by spending time with either my family or my teammates.
