Velokhaya at the 2011 Cycle Tour

Cape Town, March 29, 2011

This year 78 cyclists from the Velokhaya Life Cycling Academy in Khayelitsha were among the more than 40 000 participants in the 2011 Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour.
The annual event is the world's largest mass participation cycling event.
Also competing in this year's Cycle Tour were former Velokhaya riders, Luthando Kaka and Songezo Jim, now riding for Team Bonitas, the winning team on the day.
Thirty (30) young riders participated in the Junior Argus.
