This is a fun event being presented with the objective of promoting BMX participation. The competition will be run in the groups as indicated on the entry form which will conform to the rules of BMX racing as laid down by BMX SA. The 33rd version of the Argus Tour started from Cape Town CBD with a field of over 38 000 cyclist ready to tackle the 109km scenic route. The real focus of the day was on the invited group which boasted all the teams that rode the Giro del Capo.
